Login ID Creation
Applicant institute must create a login ID by providing a few basic information. The login credentials will be sent to the applicant’s email ID.
Given the need for organizations to practice innovation in a sustained manner, how does a research/academic institution come up with something which has a value for the industry, government and society at large? How well equipped our researchers are that could enable them to achieve breakthrough results? How efficient their leadership, their vision and their goals are that would make them innovative?
With this idea, a special category under CII Industrial Innovation Awards has been introduced to acknowledge all those significant contributions
of innovative solutions, which comes from ‘Research/Academic institutions’, which are seen as very crucial for assisting various firms, public and private enterprises in their endeavours.
CII has formulated an exclusive Innovation Quotient Framework for the assessment of research institutions applying for CII Industrial Innovation Awards. With this framework in place, institutions learn about innovation best practices while taking part in various stages of the award process.

All public funded laboratories, private sector research labs, autonomous labs set up by Trusts / Societies, Government or Private Centres of Excellence, or special technology centres, and government, or any other suitable research institution.
CII Innovation Awards for Research/Academic institutes is a five-stage funnel process
Applicant institute must create a login ID by providing a few basic information. The login credentials will be sent to the applicant’s email ID.
With the given login credentials, applicant institution will be required to fill in the online application form, which includes an abstract about the firm’s innovation quotient, and its innovations.
The jury at this stage will evaluate the contents of applications and determine top 10 institutes for the Grand Jury stage.
A grand jury comprising of Indian and international experts will finally assess the applications/presentation by the institutions and decide the award-winning institute.
A physical / virtual ceremony will be held at a grand scale to recognize the Award-winning institutes.

(*includes the cost of online facilitation by CII, expenses towards entire evaluation process, allied expenses along with honorarium for experts to be engaged for assessments, necessary fees for two delegates/institution to Award Ceremony etc.)
